A good all purpose searching nymph. When nothing else seems to be working give this one a try. It may surprise you.

Hook:

 Mustad 3906 or 3906B Size 10-16

Thread:

 Orange

Tail:

 None

Rib:

 None

Body:

 Thread Color

Thorax:

 Black Chenille

Hackle:

 1 or 2 Wraps Of Black Hackle

Head:

 Thread Color

 

Instructions:

 Change the thread size as the hook size gets smaller. I have found that 6/0 works well on 10 and 12. while 8/0 is best for 14 and 16.
