This pattern was designed by Bob Boudreau's brother Mike, in or around 1996. Mike designed this fly to work in low, slow water as these were the usual conditions he ended up fishing in when he came to Nova Scotia looking for salmon. The fly is designed to have some movement in slow water. It is also designed to be neutrally buoyant in water so it can hold it's vertical position in slow water. This fly has been very effective when fished under the correct conditions..
