Trout Streamers

    If it isn't obvious, I have a thing for streamers. My favorite trout streamer is by far the Zonker Strip Muddler. The Zonker Strip pattern was passed on to me one day while visiting a local fly shop. A gentleman, I think his name was Reg Baird, told me I should try a muddler with a Rabbit Strip tied on top. He described how to tie it on and promised me it would be a killer pattern. I did what he told me and on first use had a few brookies on that were around the 10 inch range. That is good size fish for here in Nova Scotia. While they do not work in every circumstance they are a sure fire killer. I hope to try them on Bass this year.
